For she will essay her pain
In solitude...
She will cry reticently,
But until the firmament hears her...
The paper she writes on will soak,
The ink will blot like Rorschach ...
She will see your image there...
an image that she thought had told her the truth...
She had failed to see the opposite side...the one that mirrored deception
and devoured her trust, ignored her kindness, and took
advantage of her emotions.
Her words will not wound you...
because, in the first place...
You never cared.
